Working as a theatrical performer has helped me understand the demands of singing for a living. Chief among them, the importance of always being prepared---both technically and emotionally, as a singer, actor, and all-around performer.
That experience also opened up an exciting and rewarding new world and the incredible fulfillment that comes from honing and developing my student's talent.
Though my primary career was in musical theater, I am classically-trained so I am able to bridge a wide variety of repertoire in my teaching.
I work with my students to structure an individual plan based on their own skill levels and personal goals. This customized and collaborative approach creates a comfortable environment for learning, experimenting---and developing talent.
